Riverland Community College’s 16-week truck driving program provides training for every type of CDL-required vehicle, including double trailer, tanker, hazmat, commercial passenger bus and snow plow. The school maintains partnerships with the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Rochester City Lines, XPO Logistics, and Norseman Trucking, who hire graduates. Riverland also offers the opportunity for a paid internship of $240 hours.

Students must pass a DOT physical and DOT drug screening, obtain a CDL permit, and must consult with the advisor prior to program admission. Tuition is approximately $6,216.54, and an additional estimate of $200 for books. Student loan aid is available via FAFSA. The school offers payment plans as well as many scholarships, including several special trucking scholarships:
