San Jacinto offers an Occupational Certificate and a DOT certification. Each student will receive approximately 200 miles of actual behind-the-wheel driving and pulling empty and loaded trailers. The program is offered via two courses: Professional Truck Driver I and II. The first level consists of 36 hours of classroom work and 90 hours of hands-on operation, and the second is 30 and 90 hours, respectively. You will receive extensive training in maneuvering numerous tractor-trailer combinations through traffic situations and weather conditions. Additionally, the program includes a 6-hour defensive driving course.
