High mileage program

San Jacinto offers an Occupational Certificate and a DOT certification. Each student will receive approximately 200 miles of actual behind-the-wheel driving and pulling empty and loaded trailers. The program is offered via two courses: Professional Truck Driver I and II. The first level consists of 36 hours of classroom work and 90 hours of hands-on operation, and the second is 30 and 90 hours, respectively. You will receive extensive training in maneuvering numerous tractor-trailer combinations through traffic situations and weather conditions. Additionally, the program includes a 6-hour defensive driving course.

Pricing and funding assistance

The total cost of the program, including all fees is approximately $3,325.00.This includes:

• Tuition
• Books and supplies
• Class A Restricted License (required prior to beginning coursework, not paid to the school)
• Class A CDL License (not paid to the school)
• DOT Drug Test and DOT Physical (not paid to the school)

The school offers many funding assistance options, including but not limited to FAFSA, Veterans benefits, scholarships, employment, and payment plans. Tuition rates are based on residency.
