Virginia Western Community College

VWCC's students come to the College from many backgrounds. Nearly 90 full-time faculty and more than 150 full-time staff members and administrators serve our students. In addition, approximately 200 part-time faculty strengthen our ability to provide more courses and services.

Financial Aid

Virginia Western has several types of financial aid to help you pay for tuition, including workforce credential scholarships.

There are also a number of scholarships available for students from both private resources and the College's Educational Foundation.

Veterans Benefits

The VA requires all students to be enrolled in an official curriculum leading to a certificate or degree in order to receive benefits. You must contact your VA certifying official each semester to complete the necessary forms to establish and maintain your eligibility for benefits.

Did you know there are also paid CDL training programs available? These are truck driving schools which are owned and operated by trucking companies.
