Wallace State offers a four or six week Instructional program, logging 160 hours. The program prepares students to apply technical knowledge and skills to drive trucks and buses, delivery vehicles, for-hire vehicles, and other commercial vehicles. This course will assist students with the knowledge and skills necessary for unskilled drivers to prepare to sit for their commercial driver’s license (CDL). Trucking recruiters are available to meet with students to provide information regarding job opportunities.
Total - $2,919.50
Additional costs may include a retest for $15, a logbook for $3, and a Truckers Road Atlas for $35.
Obtain and begin review of the Alabama Commercial Driver’s License Manual at the Cullman County Courthouse. Begin studying manual prior to first day of class.
