Western Pacific Truck School

Western Pacific Truck School is the only truck driving school to be honored with the California Trucking Association’s Fleet Safety Award. WPTS was presented with the Outstanding Business Partner Award in May 2003 by the Central Valley Opportunity Center in recognition of their care and service to clients. Since its founding in 1977, more than 20,000 students have successfully completed training at WPTS.

What Programs Does Western Pacific Truck School Offer?

• Class A Commercial Driver Training - 160 hours and includes Classroom/Lab and Field/Practical Training (actual driving, backing skills, and observation time). Students are trained on equipment commonly used in the trucking industry. Upon successful completion of the Tractor/Trailer Operator program, and having obtained a Commercial Driver’s License, men and women are prepared to become professional entry-level truck drivers.
• Class B Commercial Driver Training - 40 hour course. Students are trained on equipment commonly used in the trucking industry. Upon successful completion of the Class B Commercial Drivers License Program, and having obtained a Commercial Driver’s License, men and women are prepared to become professional entry-level truck drivers.
• Professional Driver Services - Professional Driver Services provides custom CDL Training Programs tailored to your company’s or agency’s special needs from classroom to practical driving skills.

Tuition And Financing

Various financing options are available for qualified WPTS applicants and they work with several companies that will reimburse the cost of your training through their “Employer Tuition Reimbursement Program”.

Program For Military Veterans

WPTS's Class A Commercial Drivers License Program is approved for training Veterans! Their school works closely with companies who offer Tuition Reimbursement Programs, including some of the top carriers in the Nation who have additional programs available for Veterans! Graduates receive placement assistance upon successful completion of their training programs, and up to 100% of your tuition can be funded depending on your eligibility.
