Help getting hired. Problem with my MVR?
Now because I didn't get it renewed on or before it expired my mvr shows my issue date as 3/17/21. Is this possibly why they think I had a suspended license? On the Illinois sos website it clearly states that a hold is not a suspension of driving privilege's.
The issue date is when you get that physical license, mine says issued 9/19 which was the last time I had to renew.
Did you miss a court date?
Which MVR did you get? There are 2 here in IL that I know of you the court purpose one.
No I didn't miss any court date. For the speeding ticket in 2016 I went to my original court date and plead guilty and was ordered to pay a fine. I mailed it in as that was one of the options they gave me, but the court house never received it. I did pay the fine eventually in 2021 when I found out there was a hold on my license.
I got the court use mvr report not the general public one.

Help getting hired. Problem with my MVR?
So I have recently gotten my learners permit in Illinois and have applied for 2 company's so far (Prime and Wilson Logistics). Both company's ran my mvr and came back that I had a suspended license last year (which I never have) and said they would be unable to hire me. So I ran my own mvr through the secretary of state just to check. I have a 15-25mph over ticket from 2016 and a failure to pay fine from that ticket in 2016 that didn't get put on my record until 2020, but no suspension or revocation. Now when I got the ticket in 2016 I mailed the payment in and figured it had been taken care of.
Fast forward to 2021 and my license was up for renew on 3/13/21. I was unable to make it to the dmv until 3/17/21 because I was sick but when I did finally get up there I was told I had a hold on my license for failure to pay a fine. I quickly went to the circuit clerks office and paid the fine, got the receipt, and went back to the dmv to finally get my license renewed. Now because I didn't get it renewed on or before it expired my mvr shows my issue date as 3/17/21. Is this possibly why they think I had a suspended license? On the Illinois sos website it clearly states that a hold is not a suspension of driving privilege's.
Forgot to mention that from 12/2016 until 8/2021 I worked for Fedex as a delivery driver which was subject to DOT rules and regulations. They ran yearly mvr reports on all drivers and never disqualified me or said anything to me about any suspension the whole time I was there.
Will any company hire me or will I have to get a lawyer and get the failure to pay taken of my mvr? Any advice would be very welcome. Thanks in advance.

Help getting hired. Problem with my MVR?
Thanks everyone for the replies and advice. As far as the link the old school posted yes I applied using that link awhile ago however I didn't know until the other day that the failure to pay was even on my mvr so I didn't state that in my applications. I have since started listing the failure to pay on applications I have been submitting. Unfortunately I have already used the link once to submit applications so it won't let me submit a second one. I have been going off the list of company's that are on that page and going to their websites and applying that way.
At this point the next step for me is going to be contacting the Secretary of State and seeing if I can get the failure to pay violation taken off my record and how I would go about it. I will also keep putting in applications at different company's.
Thanks again for the advice.
