The concept of MVP (from the English minimum viable Product) of the minimum viable product was developed as part of the Customer Development methodology - testing the idea or prototype of the future product on potential consumers. The term was introduced in the 1990s by American serial entrepreneur Steve Blank. Customer Development was often contrasted with a food -oriented approach (“Make a cool product and there is a buyer”).
Now the term is more used to indicate a functionality that can satisfy the main needs of the customer and inexpensive at the cost of development and implementation. Despite the fact that the focus has shifted from testing a cheap solution, the MVP concept in business remained the same: the minimum viable product is not from poverty, but from rationality and priority.
However, in the growing competitiveness of a grocery IT market, only a working prototype of functionality was not enough, which would solve most of the problems. As you know, you can solve problems in different ways, but not for any people are ready to pay.
