Melton isn't hauling DG freight. It is 100% a flatbed company.
I got two offers one is from Melton and the other is from DG Fleet.
I do apologize for that confusion.
I know that ticket is hard to work with. I've explained it too a few companies and they said it's no problem. But then I get denied because of the ticket so it has been hard.

Hey my name is Austin. I'm about to complete my CDL-A training and get my license around end of August or Early September.
I've been trying to contact companies to see if I can work for them and I got two so far that I've heard some good news back from since I'm in the state of Florida.
Melton Truck Lines Dollar General Fleet
I was wondering if anyone had any information or reviews about either of these. I do some research myself but nothing is better than just asking the people out there now.
I know both are physically demanding being a flatbed company and I helped my dad do DG with Werner years back.
But if you guys have any information or recommendations on these companies or different companies I could try to apply for in Florida. Id greatly appreciate it.

Hello, My name is Austin. I'll be finally finished receiving my CDL in the next few weeks however I have some concerns and I was wondering if anyone can help.
Just over two years ago I received a Ticket during an accident (Middle of July 2021) my grandfather said I should have fought the ticket cause it wasn't my fault but I didn't.
I received a Carless/Reckless Driving ticket for the accident. When the accident happened I was on a hill behind someone and we were stopped behind a stop sign. I had a car behind me and the car In front of me starts rolling backwards hitting my car. I couldn't try to roll backwards or I'd hit that car so I had to just take the one hit.
Despite this I got a Careless/Reckless driving ticket.
I was wondering if there were any companies that are known that would look over that or at least hear out what happened so that I could start my trucking career.
I was looking into Werner, Schneider, and Swift but any recommendations would really help.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and help.

Trucking Job Help
I got word back from Melton that I'm 100% approved to go through OJT and Orientation. So I'm assuming all I have to do is show up and do good on my skills tests to get into the company.
