Is it too good to be true to make $2,000 a week as a OTR driver?
I dont have a CDL but this sounds enticing. Why would someone want to be an electrical engineer or spend 20 years working in the construction field to become a superintendent when they can spend $3,500 for a 10 hour training course (assuming they obtained the CDL learners permit) and make $1500 a week their first year and then make $2,000 a week after that? No offense but I see there are a lot of low brow drivers out there that can't spell properly or speak English and it just seems absurd that they are all making more than people who studied calculus for a couple years.

Making Truckers Wipes, for those "No Time For a Shower" days
I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to use paper towels in the toilet. Nor is one supposed to use a hair product for their rear end. What you're looking for is actually called toilet paper foam. And unlike shampoo, is antibacterial and won't "dry out your scalp"

What direction should I take to start out making $1000+ a week fresh out of CDL training?
I am considering OTR truck driving again (been considering this pretty much every year since 2016) because my contracting business is slowing down again. I have been making about 40K in net income with my business since 2015 when I started and can't afford any pay cuts. I also don't want to slave myself working 12 hours a day for anything less than 4 digit weekly pay. I also want to work second shift as I absolutely cannot stand waking up at the crack of dawn and think that it would be easier to just go to sleep right after my shift is over and would rather have my leisure time before I start my shift.
I have a clean driving record with no criminal history. Is it reasonable to make $1000+ a week starting out? CDL school will probably be around $5000 and I already have backtaxes from my business being unsustainable. I would honestly just rather kill myself if I have to work for $600 a week starting out, no way!
I am going to make a decision within a couple weeks for my New Year's resolution. I can't make any more career mistakes at this point in my life (I'm 28 and basically have no career, no girlfriend, and really am at my whits end here).

Living in RV when not trucking
About to get a CDL and drive regional where I am home every weekend. I'm thinking of ditching my crap apartment and getting a mobile trailerlike this but maybe longer and just parking it at an RV resort/campground and living there where I can get utilities and can live semi off grid when not working. I want to live the nomad life for the rest of my 20s but in style. Maybe get a cruiser too and live on the water like some kind of pirate when I'm not sleeping in truck stops.
