Hi everyone
I am an owner opp driving with open decks around. Mostly flatbeds.
I am about to buy a new 53 foot all aluminum rear sliding axle flatbed trailer because my rental 2019 great dane freedom lt starts problems with suspension.
I made my search and I see reviews are mixed and I can not come to a conclusion
I am otr since 2019
I drive with reitnouer bigger bubba then I had fontaine revolution and now I have a great dane freedom LT. Generally all was the same. Because the longest I keep a trailer was around two years. Now I need something to withstand 10 years :) If there is oneā¦
I hear good reviews about Mac, Reitnouer and Great Dane. Some say East, all so confusing.
I need an aluminum trailer because my truck is volvo and it is heavy. I scaled 21800lbs bobtail with 300 gallons of fuel topped up
I checked the market and found some new Wabash with 52k lbs beam rating with great price and they are around 9650lbs
When I gone to see the trailers they looked cheap to me. Material feels weak. Maybe it it new technology but I had that feeling
Mac and Great dane trailers are $10k expensive than Wabash but also they have 60k lbs beam rating and they feel better
Only Reitnouer new I found was CK90 models around same prices and they are not so welcomed by some drivers
As you see I am lost and I need your valuable thoughts.
I carry max 48000lbs loads I need the lightest and most durable
I carry 45k coils sometimes and 48k lumber and etc
I will be glad if we come to a conclusion about which is the best flatbed to buy
