Fontana, CA TDA 1 School

Hi Everyone! Just received the school packet to attend Swift Transportation's school in Fontana, California. I reside down here in the Southwest corner of the U.S. in Chula Vista, CA within San Diego County! I begin school December 29, 2014.

Can anyone please give me some advice, suggestions, and tips before I hit the ground running? I don't have my permit yet either, so I am expecting to get that first, am I correct?
