CRST Riverside Ca

My other half has recently joined CRST. We have spent months and months researching CDL paid training trying to figure out which would be a better option. We knew of course going in nothing we chose would be a walk in the park but what we were basically choosing something that wasn't as painful. So since w e live an hour away we decided to go with CRST. I thought prime would be a little better because they start of with more and you're solo but CRST had the 8 month contract so we could hurry and get it done, so we thought. Well let me update you first by saying CRST no longer had an 8 month contract it's 10 months now and the 10 months starts when you hired meaning after you pass your CDL test the 1st day you're on the road with your trainer it starts. Once he got hired on they put him in a hotel for a day because he didn't have a lead yet and he didn't have any money on him because they gave 40$ cards once a week for food but when he went to the hotel everything stopped. He was suppose to get $130 for his orientation but didn't get it because something went wrong and he couldn't speak to the person because she took a 2 hour lunch then went home early and went on vacation and the other crew that said they could help didn't know how to help. So when he finally got a lead they had him get on a bus to meet him so he caught they greyhound to reno nv. He took 2 buses and had to wait 5 hours for the 3rd one to get to reno. He is now with his trainer and at this point doesn't seem like the driver is getting to many loads. He has 28 days with this guys and so far it's been a lot of canceled loads because CRST keeps forgetting about when the trainers 10 hours are up and he cant drive anymore and my hubby being a trainee can't drive at night so its been a lot of time wasted hopefully things will pick up but I decided to post this because for some reason their aren't any recent post about CRST experiences and also they have more students than they do lead drivers to train the new students its a pretty big turnover rate with the lead drivers a lot of them quit so be careful of that.
