After 22 hours of traveling on the greyhound (including layovers) from Atlanta (never again), my girlfriend and I have made it to Prime to start the PSD program. We tried to drive but they said that their long-term parking was full.
We are both 23 and 24 years old and had well-paying jobs but after months of research and thought, we decided to pursue a career in trucking and that we wanted to team-drive together.
We put in applications for about 5 companies and every single one of them called us back within a day. Prime seemed like the best fit for our needs, in comparison to the others. So we left our jobs and picked a date and now we are here.
Thinking about starting a training diary once I get further into the process/training. I have just been reading the forum for a while now and haven't registered up until today. I've also read through the high road training program 2-3 times now so hopefully I'm prepared for what's to come. We're super excited to get everything started, even though being split up for 2-3+ months may be rough.
