In regards to my last post: Also, I have a copy of my DAC and I do not see anywhere where any company I have worked for said I failed a drug test. I am confused on this. Any chance this person wasn't/isn't telling me the truth on this matter?

Greetings one and all. Got some quick question's concerning the FMCSA driver's clearinghouse. 1) Can driver's access this info? If not, why not? 2) Is there a web site? 3) Can't find any web page for such. Why the big secrecy? 4) Can ONLY trucking companies get this information, or can other companies or individuals NOT trucking related still get this info?

I recently had to come off the road due to a serious family illness(Cancer) and resign from my position to take care of my mother. I'm trying to find local work, and upon applying for a driver position with a company where I live, I was told that a former carrier I worked with early on in my career told me that my name is on this "Clearinghouse." Needless to say, I am extremely ****ed off and worried that I won't be able to find a local job now, or any job for that matter. Money is tight right now, so a lawyer isn't in the cards. Thought I would try to find this info on my own. I cannot find how to access this info online. Where do I go? What should I do next? I want desperately to clear my name. I can't believe this is happening to me.
