Hi, I have been driving for a dry tanker(bulk) company for 7 months. They pay us by the load, most of the time we are under paid because of hold ups and delays at the places we load or we have to travel great distance to get from one place to another. The only advantage to this job is that we are home most nights.
Does anyone know of any companies near Danville, VA that have reasonable home time but pay well? If I can get a job driving local or regional routes that pays well that would be great. What companies are the best? I have heard so much conflicting stuff about the big companies; I don’t know what to believe. Anyone with experience, please give me some help.
Thanks,
Larry
