Verifiable work history

Sorry for the delayed response.

Hi and welcome. Companies love married teams. If you have your partner with you, you are much more productive and happier.

Ask the recruiter about having your husband or friends/relatives signing statements of what you have done. Also ask if your husband can train you. it is quite possible. At Prime, i know they dont hold a spouse to the year long commitment. They might have something similar at stevens, doesnt hurt to ask. Why pay for the college if you can train for free at stevens? its a great company.

My guess is for a married team, they will be more lenient with the work history. That is if your criminal and driving history is clean.

Thank you for the info!

Who will finish raising the 16 year old? Are you planning to make the older one an instant parent?

He's almost 17, already in his 1st year of college, and we will start running teams once he turns 18 and transfers to a 4 yr University. So, no, our 22 year old won't become an instant parent.

Verifiable work history

My husband and I are wanting to run teams, once I get my CDL. He works for Steven's right now, but I am completely new and don't have my CDL yet. I plan on going through my local community college to get it but now I'm worried about my verifiable work history. In the last 10 years I worked on and off as a nanny, drove for Uber/Lyft, and had a small in home daycare. My daycare was the longest (8 years) but I didn't file taxes because my income was so low. Is my work history going to pose a problem for me? I've also been in college for the last 10 years, one reason why I didn't work full time, all the time. Basically, my husband was the bread winner, I was in college, worked park time, and took care of our 2 children (who are now 16 and 22). Thanks for any info!
