Felon w/ DWi wants CDL

Got 3 DWI in North Carolina in 2009, convicted on 2 in 2010, the third was dismissed. I have had my regular license for some time now after jumping through all the bull**** to get it back.

Second issue I have 2 felony convictions the latest from 2016 but that is also all resolved.

I have my **** together finally after a rough go of it and in my line of work I'd love to get a CDL to improve my stock such as it is.

Does any of the above disqualify me in North Carolina from getting a CDL?

IF SO

Is there another state with easier restrictions where I could get a CDL and then transfer back to NC and get it transferred in?

Or

Am i completely ****ed for life and will never have a CDL?
