Unemployed again, and tired...
Hello all! I'm 50 years old and unemployed, again, and tired of being so. For the last 20 years or so I've been in the IT field, sadly it has become harder and harder to find a job that pays what it is supposed to. Or at least what it did. Maybe it's because I'm 50? Well, whatever the reason I've been contemplating the idea of getting my CDL and changing careers. I know what a lot of the truckers life can entail as my brother has been a driver for over 20 years. I'm using this sites study program for CDL preparation currently while gathering information about which CDL program will best fit my needs. Any tips, ideas, or advice is definitely welcome.
