My next Ride!

That’s the exact same truck I’m in now I love it, except mine is brown, I like the yellow congrats

Very cool looking truck.

I've never even sat my butt in a Pete. The long nose and small windshield has always made me wonder about visibility. I would really be interested in your comparison between your Freightliner and the new Pete. I hope you like it.

Bruce it is a Freightliner. I am not a trainer. I love my Freight Shakers and Detroit Muscle. The truck is a 2012 Freightliner Coronado Fitzgerald glider. It has a 12.7L series 60 Detroit Engine. 10 spd Eaton - Fuller transmission.

Yea I’m here just working a lot everything is going good I’m pulling a pneumatic, headed to Odessa today with a load of flyash then head down to Maryneal and make a run over to New Mexico, so staying busy but loving it and learning something new everyday it seems.

Not sure if you're still around but how is it going for ya Brent?

Looking into schools in Texas, hope to start in January 2019

I went to Amarillo College Truck Driving Academy, it’s 8 weeks, they are an approved CDL testing location for DPS, that means you take your state driving test with them, I graduated December 12th and started with a company the 17th and in training now, it worked well for me,

My pneumatic tanker job

Yes training is great I have an excellent trainer that leaves nothing uncovered and does it by the book, he has gone out of his way to show me a lot, he will let dispatch know he is training and ask if they will send us to new places I haven’t been to get loaded so I can learn their procedures, I should be off training and on my own around January 4, so far so good.

My pneumatic tanker job

I am on my 4th day training now with Schwerman they are a Tankstar company based out of Wisconsin, I am in Texas they have several yards here, so far ive hauled to a place that makes pools in Lubbock, did a pre load down by Sweetwater Texas for a company in Liberal Kansas, and hauled 2 loads to a dairy farm up in the Texas panhandle where they are doing construction, truck here are all autos and have sleepers, KW T680's, its fun work, mainly driving, the loading does not take long if its not busy, and unloading just learning the gauges and what they need to be and what valves to open. Learning the different cement and flyash plants and what their procedures are is going to take some time,

No problem. Any other questions feel free to post. I'll do my best to answer them

In Texas even these 2 lane farm roads are 75mph, we only go about 65 in trucks,

How long does it take to load and unload one?

Figured it was cement for the bases and pads. It's easy stuff and if you can run a couple loads you can make good money. The ash is light stuff. Probably bring a load of cement out, load ash after on the way back to load more cement.
