Sad day for my family today

Prayers up and good thoughts Moe. I live in Roseburg Oregon. I really like this blog, and although I'm not a trucker, I really enjoy reading the posts and looking at the pictures. The Trucker camaraderie and situations encountered remind me of many that I experienced during my time in the Military. I'm a life long dog lover. August before last, I lost two, one old and one young, a month apart. Very tough. Wishing and hoping the best for you, good Sir. Take care and Godspeed.

Today i got a message from my mother that one of our family dogs had to be put over the rainbow Bridge. 🌈 She was a cute little mix of pomeranian and chiwawa. Even tempered. Its been hard on mom too and it looks like the other doggy may not be far behind, both were old. Just asking good thoughts.

I'm parked at loves in Tacoma WA off Port of Tacoma road, you know the drill shipper running behind load was supposed to be ready at 10, I showed up at 900 and load wont be ready till 1300 or 1330 or so. Had coffee and took a nap. Now just catching up on other things.

Thanks for the good thoughts. I'll talk to yall later

Any tips on down shifting from 9 to 8?

That is a pretty cool tip! Very useful.

With the truck off put into 3rd/8th (assuming it is patterned like that) place your palm flat on the shifter with index finger extended. Looks to see what your index finger is lined up with such as fan or temp control knobs, then when down shifting place your palm down and index finger out and line it up to that spot.
