Will companies hire someone with an arrest but no conviction?
To elaborate as long as you weren't convicted you'll be fine. Innocent people get arrested everyday and I was one of them. I was accused of stealing money out of a safe that had three cameras pointing at it. The District Manager was trying to cover the Store Managers ass. Upper Management wanted someone to be arrested for it and guess who the new Assistant Store Manager was. That's right it it was me and I got arrested. Took about a year in court of the company delaying trial. They wanted me to pay restitution and they would drop the charges if I did. I told them where to stick the offer. Finally on the day of trial they dropped the charges because of no evidence. The Judge asked if I wanted it expunged and I told him NO! Why in the world would I do that? Two reasons. One I knew that I would be taking the company back to court and they would be writing a check to me. Two even if they expung your record you still have a mugshot floating around out there. That shows you were arrested for something and if a company finds it then I want proof of what happened so they know I was innocent and didn't just take a plea.

Any Federal Law for Right on Red?
I live in Chattanooga and you better stop or you're getting a ticket.
It's legal in almost every state to "yield" not "stop" when doing a right on red.Where do you get that from? I've never heard of yielding on red.
Tennessee rarely requires a stop on red, if turning right. And will very quickly get you rear ended, or a ticket for obstructing traffic if you stop and it’s clear, but that’s here. Idk but in West Virginia I also seen many places with yield to right on red also. But I’ve seen it illegal, but I thought we had to stop regardless?

I have zero interest in leasing a truck. I want to eliminate debt not add to it. If one day I decide I want my own truck then I'll put in the hard work and pay cash.

Will do and thanks for the advice!
Then think of what you don't want to do and pick based on that. I've seen a lot of people come and go and switch companies 20 times because they never like what they pick. Put some real thought into it.
I would prefer dry van or refrigerated but I'll do whatever it takes to make decent money. I'm not afraid of hard work.
Do you have a preference for what type of freight you want to pull? (Dry Van, refrigerated, tanker or flatbed) That can make a difference.

Do you think there is a truck parking shortage?
I'm a veteran of the USAF and have first hand experience how badly our tax dollars are wasted. It would blow your mind! My first week at my duty station I rolled 12 snap on tool boxes full of snap on tools into a scrap bin. These boxes and tools were only a year old. Nothing was wrong with them! When I asked why I was told it's the end of the year and we haven't spent all our budget so we are getting new tools. If we don't spend it they will cut next year's budget. This is just one example I've seen. There were many in my four years serving. I would rather see reform to make sure our taxes are spent wisely and not wasted. The government has plenty of money all ready to run this country. We are in debt because the politicians allow it.
