Just got my Class C Drivers License and want to start getting CDL with starting career in Trucking

You say you just got your class C, that is a regular driver's license. How much driving experience do you have?

You need to be at least 21 years old and have a few years worth of a driving record to look at.

We always recommend Paid CDL Training Programs, of which CFI is one.

Can you be a bit more clear about yourself and why you want to go into trucking?

Thanks for replying. I am over 21 years old I had a 1 year permit. My driving experience is 1 year if include the permit.

I am looking into trucking to build a career, it is a reliable industry to go into, they need drivers. Trucking rewards go getters and people who have a free agency. I want to feel of service in keeping the country running as a trucker. My interest is regional trucking but I am open to long haul.

I am new to the Trucking industry but I just received my Class C Drivers License, I am competent driver and currently in the logisticis industry. I am looking at the trucking industry to start a new career. I am just wondering what it is the best way to get into trucking as a rookie. Are truck driving schools worth it or can you try to get hired with trucking company that pays and trains you.
