Eagle transportation Tucson Arizona.

I received a FREE CDL at Eagle KMC. Their training program was top-notch. My trainer, Tim, taught me well and I flew through the CDL acquisition process thanks to Tim and Eagle's program.

After receiving my CDL I began driving Over-The-Road with a Trainer. Leonard was an excellent mentor and taught me well. After that phase was completed I hopped on a truck and drove about a year and a half for Eagle, moving Werner Enterprise loads.

I was supported well by the office staff and the tractor operations team. I needed to get off the truck for personal reasons, but had a good home at Eagle. They are honest, fair, professional, responsive, considerate, helpful, agreeable, and knowledgeable. Good people all around.

I've read a few online reviews and know some people just cannot be satisfied or happy. You get out of many relationships what you put into them. My relationship with Eagle and her staff was first-rate and, even in times where I became frustrated (e.g., caught in a blizzard on one occasion, and couldn't drive that day or the next) I never took it out on the Eagle Team. Nor did they ever respond to me unprofessionally.

I drove more than 3,000 miles many many times, and 2,500+ miles most of the time. I worked hard and earned well.

People that complain about trucking company pay are quick to forget company perks offered by good companies like Eagle. Eagle's training doesn't cost students a penny. Thanks to the opportunity offered by Eagle, their students land good, well-paid, positions with a solid company; and excellent job security. It's not fair for rookies to expect the same rate of pay offered by companies seeking experienced drivers, who didn't train them for free, or that promise the moon; only to deliver something less than expected. For example, many companies offer to pay more per mile, but drivers enjoy fewer loads, longer downtime, etc... In short, they don't make nearly as much.

I'd rather make a little less per mile and earn more money because I'm actually ticking off the miles on I-40, than the guy spending large chunks of his day waiting for loads.

If you want to earn 50K or more every year, this is a GREAT company to get you on that path. The more you drive, the more you earn. The longer you drive, the more value you have and your income will grow accordingly.

I miss the road and I really miss Eagle. Great company, excellent people, and an incredible opportunity to earn a Free CDL, followed by great earnings.

Steve... DISCLAIMER: I have zero business with Eagle at this time, nor do I expect to in the foreseeable future. Nobody asked me to write this review, nor will I receive any compensation or benefit for doing so. I simply wanted to take a moment and share some truths with readers of this review. I'm loyal to Eagle, because they earned my trust, loyalty, and sincere appreciation for what they've done for me.
