Stereo, Sound Systems, Original, Upgrade, Speakers, Quality, What do you want!
Thank you truckers for what you do. My handle was Colorado Kid back in the day. My business partner and I started a company based on science and sound. We design and build systems for cars and trains and I was looking at trucks as a possible category to design systems for. I noticed that APTIV was a big brand in regular radios and they have XM, FM, and AM in most. Pana Pacific website sells just a few speakers in sizes 3.5", 5" and 6.5" as does STS.
Do new trucks come with good stereo systems? Do drivers prefer excellent quality sound or not really? Is APTIV the most popular brand? (we see they come as pre-installed via PACCAR manufacturing). If you put in an aftermarket unit, what price is average?
Do you want CAR PLAY, or ANDROID AUTO built in?
