T880 disc brake dust

I have a 2023 KW T880 with disc brakes. I’m having an issue with brake dust on the front wheels. The metal particles are imbedding into the polished aluminum surface and then rusts when it gets wet. Is there a backing plate or something to prevent the dust from coming through the holes in the wheels? And what would the best way be to get rid of that metal in the surface without damaging the polished surface? Thanks
