Urine Test Only, New Driver

Hi all.

I’m new to the forum here. Back in November I quit smoking cannabis and decided to get my CDL. Passed the DOT UA in December, went to school January to March, and obtained my CDL about 2 weeks ago.

I want to underscore that I’ve been clean for 5-6 months and plan to stay that way. I like driving a truck and see myself making a career of it.

The problem is that I normally shave my head (I have a skin condition that makes the presence of hair on my head very irritating). Body hair can read dirty for a year after last use.

If I grow my hair out for 3 months, I’ll be able to pass a hair follicle test; I’d like to be driving before then, but by that point, I’ll have been out of the truck longer than I was in school and I don’t what skills I’ve acquired to atrophy in that time. Are there any companies that hire new drivers based only on a DOT UA?

Can anybody point me in the right direction? Any help in turning my life around would be greatly appreciated.
