Embarrassing Question.. LOL... I pee a LOT

Frequent bladder infections is the bane of lady truckers...but the natural way to curb those infections is to take 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar a day.....it cleans the kidneys and bladder....keeps the pipes workin'. Its not great tasting...but I got used to it..and its preferable to the infections.. Also...I had a porta potty in our truck..mostly because we teamed, and that truck rarely stopped for more than fuel. But if I were to run solo, i'd still have one. Its just nice for at night, and I don't want to walk to the ts...or if I haveta pee, I'll take an exit, park on the side, and use it...

Excellent! Yes, I am aware of the apple cider vinegar, but honestly never have taken it because of the taste- but i will start now! Thanks so much for the advice & also about the in-truck porta potty I didn't know they had those!! Thanks!

Embarrassing Question.. LOL... I pee a LOT

They have meds the doctor can put you on. However you will find that your bladder calms itself in this truck. I know mine has. Also you could be like me and develop chronic bladder infections and just not know it. Check that out. Ultimately drinking fluids sparingly is the only way to curb massive stops. I usually stop 2 to 3 times max.

Cool, Thanks Redgator thank-you.gif I avoid meds like poison, lol.. but will check into possible infections? seems like I would know if something was wrong (no pain ever) but I very much appreciate the suggestions! The phrase 'Keep On Truckin' comes to mind, and all of a sudden it has a whole new meaning - Enjoy!

Anyone been to Roadmaster Drivers School?

I live in Miami FL, and after doing quite a bit of research online and on this REALLY GREAT site, I am first and foremost considering going to Roadmaster school, but when I am searching on these forums I have not seen much if any mention of this school. Does anyone have anything to say about Roadmaster? Appreciate any and all comments :)

Embarrassing Question.. LOL... I pee a LOT

OK, We're all ladies here.. so - I am post-menopausal and I have found that I need to pee a LOT, and when I get the urge, sometimes it is a 'right now' kind of thing; and I am wondering if lady truckers have some 'in-truck' ways to take care of this so we don't have to keep stopping to pee? I am aware of the kegel exercises, but that hasn't seemed to help a whole lot yet. Any comments would be appreciated :)

Can short ladies be truckers?

This may sound funny, but i seriously want to become a trucker & am about to enroll in a school; but I am only 5' 2" tall, and while I have no experience in a big rig, I have driven Uhaul trucks and at times found it difficult to reach the pedals, or I have to sit at very edge of seat in order to reach pedals. SO, my question is: Can short ladies work these big trucks or is it really not for short people??? Maybe they make supports for short people to help? :D Thanks for any response.
