Class A CDL driving B class Truck

Thanks I’ll let him know!

As long as you keep the driver license current, and have a current medical card, your license itself is ok. You could ride a bicycle for five years, and that CDL-A would be good.

BUT, the recent semi-truck experience, especially OTR would be lacking and you'd need a refresher for that the get a trucking job.

Class A CDL driving B class Truck

I have a question I’m curious about. If I were to start diving B Class trucks with my class A CDL & drove them for 3+ years, if I wanted to go back to a Tractor Trailer Class A Job would I be able to? Would my license hold no weight? Or would I have to start the process all over again?

Mr. T!

Good grief, how are you man?

It has been a long time - It's really good to hear from you!

I'm super glad to hear that you're still in the driver's seat.

Things have been Great! I'm newly Engaged, just got a new place, & have a GREAT Local gig driving for Dupre Logistics. Everything I've learned from this site has been nothing short of the truth. I've had some great days, I've had some horrible frustrating days, but in the end it all Worked itself out! I'm still here! So I guess I'm in that small percentage of drivers who actually finish out their first year?smile.gif Trucking has definitely opened many doors & provided a great life for me & my family! But yes Great to be back active in the community! How have things been going for you?!

4 day with out a shower

Mr. T caught his Mentor playing with Mr. Spanky behind the wheel! Oh did we have fun with that! I think Brett deleted the thread, although he let us have quite a bit of fun with it before he did!

Just waiting on a start date now.

Swift has about 40 Terminals, but only 5 locations with a Driving Academy. AZ, ID, VA, TN, and TX . That is the reason you will not train in MN.

Also Salt Lake City, Utah

Your Favorite Truck Stop

Tiger truck stop in Grosse Tete, LA. It's not much to see , well there's a tiger, but the diner has great food and all sorts of meat you'll never get anywhere else.

The Tennesseean in Cornersville, TN. Great bbq, really nice folks and $7 for a shower. Lots of parking.

Aww man I love that Tiger Truck Stop!

Does Experience mean nothing?

Well no I wasn't comparing areas. But I see what you guys are saying. I mean I wouldn't mind being home every night but at the same time I wouldn't want to do it & make crappy pay either. I like some of the responses "Gladhand" got on his other post.
