Yesterday i finally got with my trainer. He drove to Muskogee OK where we were supposed to drop and hook. I was supposed to drive as close as I could to Columbia SC. Well as you have probably experienced there was no trailer so we had to get the trailer we were supposed to drop loaded. We arrived at 4pm and finally got loaded at 130 in the morning. I gues i just got initiated. We got back on the road at 230 am. My.trainer drovr till about 8 then i got in the seat for the first time in three weeks. I did ok but i am rusty on the shifting. My trainer gets a bit loud which i have no problem with since i know im screwing up. He cool patient and doesnt hold it against you for the rest of the day. I drove 300 miles before feeling tired. So here we sit in Lincoln Alabama shutdown for night. Tomorrow we start early for SC.

Either tomorrow or saturday i will be meeting my trainer. I cant wait. I am nervous but yet excited. I am just or praying he is not a jerk.

Its officiall i will be starting orientation monday for USA Truck. Swift is a bigger company but when it came down to it i felt USA was a better fit for me. I cant wait to get started

It's gonna be awesome man! Prepare for a lot of reading, early mornings, late nights, and about 7 paper tests (in class, and at the DPS)! :)

I have been invited to orientation by USA Truck and Swift do you guys have any suggestion on which to go to?

May sound like an obvious question but if you dont pass does that mean they wont hire your?

I got an invite swifts orientatio in memphis tn on tuesday. That day we will be also taking our road test. I am currious if anyone here has taken it at the location amd if what is it like?

I went to C1 in North Little Rock. The state of Arkansas paid for schooling.

Its official i own a Class A CDL. There is still apart of the cant believe this day is here. Now to find a company to drive for.
