I am looking to begin a new career. For the past 10 years I have been working in human services. This required much emotional involvement with persons who were socially and or economically strained. Fathers and mothers looking for work. Children looking for a family. After so many years, burnout begins to set in. In addition, I only have a high school diploma and finding a job without a bachelors degree in human services is difficult. I have children, a father and a household i am responsible for, so a lengthy educational commitment is not an option. I need a career I can begin relatively quickly, and make a good income.

I enjoy driving and seeing different places, so I believe truck driving is the career for me. Less emotional attachment, along with the financial possibilities and job security, are my motivating factors for choosing this career. Obtaining my CDL A license is the first step for a new life for me.
