I'm a rookie and proud of it...... Worked hard to get where I'm at. Love driving and my motto is slow and steady wins the race. Safety first and always. Favorite quote from my trainers and I will pass along.... " When in doubt get out and look". I'm new and I will tell everyone that. The bottom line is I will be safe at all times. I will look like a rookie and I don't care. I might do fifty pull ups but I will get it. I might jump out fifty times and look but that is ok. Senior guys might laugh at me but that is ok too. We all started from nothing. Last thing I will say is don't be afraid to ask. I ask drivers all the time all sorts of questions. I have learned a lot from them and I haven't met one driver that wasn't helpful or brushed me off. Keep on trucking and be safe.

Maps and downloadable maps to a laptop.
I carry a Rand McNally GPS and map book. Does anyone know if there is a website where you can download maps for your laptop? I carry my laptop with me everywhere and it would be easier to plan a trip on my laptop versus pulling out the trusty map. I know there is mapquest etc. but I want something more truck specific. Any thoughts are also appreciated....
