Physical requirements of trucking
I'd say on top of your friend probably only knowing local drivers, she might be concerned that she won't be seeing you as much anymore.

Quick question in regard to sleep study / cpap
Seems like they're going to have you test. If they don't ask, I don't see the point in telling them about a few years old result. Just work with their current finding.
But if they do ask just tell them.

This comment is not meant to answer any questions, just wanted to say "hey" to a fellow Cookevillian, or someone in this area.
Sorry if this is frowned upon here. :)

A friendly "hello" is never frowned upon here. It's all good.
-mountain girl
Like Mountain Girl said, it is definitely not frowned upon, especially from a fellow Tennessean...
Thanks you two.

Great post! I echo all sentiments that it is no less than an inspiring story, and is one very similar to mine in the sense that I am flat broke as a joke right now.
Well, all I can say is thank you! And thanks to everyone here for being what appears to be the only positive trucker community online.
PS, where can I see the bike securment video. At 42, I'm still into bmx and plan on taking my bike for exercise.

Pre-hire Letters: what's the deal?
Luckily this school works with the company I want to work for.
Thanks for the link to the article, Brett.

Pre-hire Letters: what's the deal?
Thanks! That makes sense.
I spoke with a recruiter at a private school that told me I could go ahead and apply to a company they work with and get a pre-hire in a few days. Or, I could wait until I get to school and do it during the big "apply-to-every-company" day.

Work History Issue
So I'm concerned my work history will not be verifiable. The company I worked for since high school closed a few years ago and I can't find any phone numbers for prospective employers to call for verification of my previous employment.
I do have pay stubs for several years and tax info. Would that be sufficient?
