Btw...ty 4 response. I have been using that link and unfortunately companies on that list that state they do hire felons still have turned me down. Few of them stated none in last 7 yrs but later along in app process come to find out it cant be more than one felony ever. Wish they wouldve stated that to begin with so as to not waste my time or theirs.

I was wondering if anyone can provide any information in regards to companies that actually believe people can change and dont judge/disqualify you for employment due to criminal charges from many years ago. Almost all the companies I have applied to say that as long as its more than 5 to 10 yrs old then it shouldnt be an issue at all however Ive come to find out the hard way that this is obviously not the case at all. Maybe only durring pre-hire however after that its definitely a problem. I am currently in my 2nd week of driving school and becomimg very frustrated and discouraged because every company thus far has denied me employment upon graduation due to background. I fwel as if I will be stuck with 6k debt for school and wont get employed. My last felony was 2007 almost 10 yrs ago. My driving record is clean as well as work history/stability for last 10 years. I was young and foolish made mistakes however I paid my debt to society as deemed through the court systems and yet seems Im still being punished. All I want is to work and provide for my family. If anyone has any info or suggestions on a company that is willing to give guys like me a shot I would greatly appreciate it. Thx

Felonies
Hey guys I appreciate the responses and encouragement. Ive been down this path for last ten years so I definitely wont give up it just gets really old and discouraging. The charges in 99 were together as one and then 07 obviously seperate so the companies are viewing it as two. The last company I spoke with said they dont hire anyone with more than 2 seperate. I will definitely try carolina. Thx
