No company will hire a R.S.O.

Pat M. Thank you for the Congrats. I will keep my head up but know when to chest down. I am eager to learn what it takes to succeed in this industry! BushWheeler. I do have any intentions on obtaining a HazMat endorsement. But thank you for the input.

Ugh I just re-read my post...I meant I do "not" have any intentions...

Minnesota Driver gets released after a DOT inspection and pulls in front of a train. MSP dashcam catches the whole thing.

Industry input on Volvo 700 or 800 series

AM&S Trucks runs all Volvo's; are their any nuances I should be aware of?

I've read all the responses here. I am now currently looking on Craigslist, following my weekly newspapers where I live and also near by local newspapers. I will have the mind set to stay Intrastate. On the side...I find it slightly odd that I am allowed to travel via my personal vehicle cross country as long as I am not gone OR staying in a place longer than 2 weeks. For instance, I could travel from here to Montana and just let only the two states know I am going from point A to B and back again. It will also take me 4 more years to save up the money to try and get my registration requirements diminished or taken away. Public and Public Officials want us ex cons to be a functioning part of society like every one else but we carry the ball and chain around (for what seems like forever) and get the bottom of the barrel. But enough ranting; I am thankful to at least have day labor to provide me with a measly income.

SO the new search begins and as always Thank you to everyone.

ps. Brett, by chance is there a trucking truth app in the works for the future? Not just the one for taking your cdl test.

Thank you guys for every one of you inputs on this topic. I will be taking this advice into serious consideration. Most likely I will try to stay Intrastate as to avoid a lot of headache. I would have no problem driving a dump truck or a Belly Dump. Honestly I would no problem driving ANYTHING! But I will go back for my Tanker endorsement just for a C.Y.A.

On a side note fellas, What if I bought my own equipment (except for a garbage truck) and then try to find a company that will take me? (well before I can make my own company)

And a final thought...What about Straight Truck driving?

Thank you once again.

I will be talking to Crete later today and TMC after 2 business days. Western Express I will apply for after work tonight. By the way Brett how do I click on the job id lines once I submit my application from this website. Melton did send an email saying they received my application; I just wondered if there was a way to see what the job id was for. (i.e. OTR or regional, etc.)

Thank you once again for your guidance and also to everyone else for your inspiring motivation.

Thank you everyone for all your suggestions and input. They are very helpful. The general nature of my offenses are the kind that are hush-hush. And most companies do not like them... $#X Offense (work it out).
