Samuel G.'s Bio

Hello everyone, my name is Samuel. I am 35 from Orange County. La Habra is my city. Since I was a young boy, I remember always being fascinated by the different license plates from different states on the trucks I would see. I cannot explain why, but all these years I have not known what I wanted to do career wise, but something is telling me at 35, this is what I want to learn all about, this is what I want to do. I hope this site and the members will help me get started. Thanks for reading.

Trucking

I have been doing some serious reading on this site. The feedback from friends and family is not what I expected. I am 35 now and my interest for truck driving started recently. In other truckers' opinions, am I too old to do this?

Repairs

Is it a truck driver's responsibility to handle any repairs while on the road? (Ex. an overheated engine, brakes, etc.)

Thanks for your feedback. I can tell this is a really good site to learn from.
