Hi everyone. I am suppose to start Swift training in Utah March 2, 2015. When talking to the recruiter on the phone she asked me if I had any drug convictions and I said no which I do not. Then later I told her that I had been charged back in 2007 but it was dismissed which the charge was dismissed. Now she wants me prove to her that the charge was dismissed. This is public information anybody can go to the state website and find this information out. After speaking with my attorney he wants a couple hundred dollars to fax this information to her. Over the last two years I have had two jobs one with Frito-Lay one with Right-A-Way applicators. At Frito-Lay I drove a box truck delivering chips on a route and with Right-A-Way I drove a water truck towing a water trailer. I had to pass background checks, get Dot physicals and take drug screens which I did and passed. Now the March 2nd date is up in the air pending I prove to her the charge was dismissed. I wish I would of just kept my mouth shut. Seems like it doesn't always pay to be honest.
