I live in tampa florida and just finished truck driving school i am a veteran and but i do have a couple of misdemeanors from when i was 16 that include shoplifting and driving without a license. I dont know why i am having such a hard time

Joshua, sorry to hear your having all sorts of problems but it sounds like there is something on your record that either you're not aware of or not telling us about. If your being truthful I would pay to have copies of my DMV record and criminal record made. Yes the government has been known to make mistakes. If you find an error you are going to have an uphill battle but it can be done. I myself live in Florida and find it is also hard to find carriers during certain seasons that will hire you do to the lack of freight coming out. You also mentioned you received your license at a CDL school. Don't they have job placement? Was it a school that gave you the necessary 160 hours of instruction? Where there any recruiters that came by? The lack of information you have given cannot let us make an informed opinion. Did all the dates and times of where you worked and background information match what comes up on your background check? I think you need to look into this a little further. One other thing I have heard of people having problems with past employers not giving correct info. If your as clean as you say someone will take a shot on you, don't concede failure yet. Now do your homework.

I went to roadmaster in tampa so yes to all that and I am at the dmv now getting a print out yes recruiters came by everyone tells me everything is great untill it's not great and I call like umm I'm still waiting for pre hire and they're like oh you've been disqualified thanks for calling I am 23 going to be 24 in august oh yea and since then I had a moving violation in January of 2015 but that's it I just had my driving recOrd printed out and none of that stuff even showed up on it except for the moving violation the few recruiters I ask why I was disqualified and they said it doesn't say only that I'm disqualified
