Shifting

Thanks for all the great responses! That puts my mind to rest. I'm still worried about learning how to shift gears in sounds complicated, but I know I'll learn it eventually.

Howdy again!

I've never had the opportunity to drive a manual before. Is this going to be a major disadvantage when I start off at school? Or is it something that will be taught at CDL School?

Asthma

Howdy, I haven't gotten anything concrete on this yet. I have asthma. It is NOT exercise induced. I'm on a prescription med for my asthma. I haven't had an asthma attack for about six months now. I have no problem breathing normally. Will this prevent me from becoming a truck driver? Thanks
