Guys, thank you for responding and for the support. As suggested, I do need sleep, so this post is going to be as short as possible.
Old School...I will give serious considstation to the pity party vibe, that's not how I wish to come across. Thank you for the honesty...but, I really do want to hear how others cope. In those responses, I hope to find some ways that I can adapt to my world, because crying and cussing, though releases also, are rather unproductive.
For example, exercise is a great stress reliever., but rather difficult when behind the wheel. Solo, I can blast (not really lol) music though, and that is one of my releases.
For now, sleep is how I'm handling it. I need it. However, I'll be back later to continue. Night all!!

Feeling...geez, girl's word in a guy's world...umm...overwhelming frustration? Me? Sometimes I cuss like a trucker lol, and sometimes, like now, if I get angry enough and can't vent it, I cry. Man I hate it, but there it is. Everything that could possibly go wrong on this trip, has. I've now run out of hours for the second day, and I'm late two days. For someone as customer service oriented as I am, that's freakin huge. I don't understand why they haven't repowered this load. I feel..there it is again...I think...it should have been repowered three days ago when we first knew I wouldn't be on time and there was still a chance to get it there on time. I screwed up by misreading my 8 day summary, but I was also told the delivery appt was a dummy time and was never told of a confirmed time following that conversation. When I received a pre assignment, I assumed...yes, I know...that since this load is a drop, I just had to get it there before that pick up appt. I found out differently two days ago. It was NOT a dummy time. And everything has gone wrong since, from clearance lights, cracks in sidewalls, fuel pumps not dispensing fuel at love's, right up to feeling..this time I "own" that word..like dispatch doesn't even care to talk to me now. It's not been a good two days.
So how do you deal with too much stress while on the road?

Hey Sue, when you do that swoop, doo you pull out of it as if pulling into a fuel aisle (serpentine I guess) at first and then over?

There'll be enough snow down here for me for this year. I'll leave Alaska to keno lol.

Sounds like you are DC shuttling. If you end up doing store runs, much of what I wrote becomes more relevant
All this has just become very relevant! Begin the McCarran Wal-Mart fleet as soon as I get home next week. Mountains. Snow. Storms. And chains. Gonna get a crash course in winter driving, and I'm going to get LOTS of backing practice!

I came through on I-70 E to Denver a little while ago. There is snow on the ground in the higher elevations, but the roads are dry.
I just did that stretch yesterday. Saw the snow, then this morning temp was 32 and I got a little edgy.
I'm going to have to get used to it, though, because Monday I'm heading home to transfer to yet another division where all I'll be doing is Donner's and the area around it. Expected to run with chains or loads would never arrive.

Night time backing is horrid!! So I start my day to make sure I can get into a ts when there should be plenty of spaces. But how do you practice o.k. a break? If I move the truck, my 30 gets cancelled, even if I stay under 5mph and drive less than 3min.
