Whatever Happened to TractorMan?
I think G-Town gave JT s a report that Tractor Man got hurt on the job and is no longer doing the Coke gig. He may be considering going back OTR. G-Town will see this and update us I'm sure.
This is true. Haven't had any communication with Tractor Man since then. Back around Easter.
That's too bad, he was actually the first and only TT'er that I have met in person. He was basically just upgraded to solo virtually the day I signed up for orientation at Swift.

Last I remember, he had basically finished training with Coke and then he disappeared. Any of you guys still in touch?

The Manteno IL terminal is actually one of my favorites. From the guys in the shop, up to and including the planners have always been top notch.

I haven't been to Charlotte but everyone at the Richmond terminal was pleasant and extremely helpful while I was there.

Please don't do this to your fellow drivers.
Some of it has to do with the way the trailer was dropped. It's also caused by when a trailer is moved by the yard personal. If it's moved from a hole or downgrade to a level or upgrade location it will be too high. The opposite is also true. It's when you can see that they've been jack up all the way that you have to start thinking it may have been done on purpose.

Swift is pretty lenient on OTD. Your not considered late unless it's really totally your fault and or unpreventable.

Losing water weight. Salt water?
Vinegar is actually good for you. It has probiotics and several other benefits. But we're talking maybe an ounce or two a day, not ounces per serving. LOL
I like pickles as a snack. I get my vinegar fix and they are basically no / low calorie and zero carbs.

Swift speeding the trucks up!!
LOL, my current trainee came from Swift. What you're getting instead of your current 62mph on the pedal, you're going to have a whopping 63 on the pedal and 65 on cruise.
YOU WON'T NOTICE A DIFFERENCE.
Mine goes faster than that. No need to go into details.
Actually the trucks are currently 60 at the pedal and 62 in cruise.

I slid into the last spot at the TA in Nashville around 0100 one morning. Tight as heck. I set up and took a stab at it, I was a little off, pulled forward and made one correction and it slid right in. The next morning both drivers on either side came over and actually congratulated me. Heck I thought everybody else was sleeping. LOL!

I thought about this thread the other night when I backed into the only spot left at the TA in Antioch, TN, just south of Nashville. Took me over 5 minutes and about I GOALed about 3-4 times. But I got it in without hitting anything. I've backed into tighter spots with less effort, but the difference here was that I was tired--that always makes things more difficult.
The important part--I didn't hit anything--so it was a success. Remember that when you start learning how to back.
Yeah when you're tired the night vision and depth perception go all wonky n stuff. LOL

Brett, you look like a fairly hairy dude. What brand of nose hair trimmer do you use? This is trucking related because mine recently broke down and if I don't find a decent replacement I'm going to probably get into an accident. I just keep pulling them out by the roots. All the sneezing and watery eyes are quite a distraction. LOL!

Brake parts cleaner or actual connector cleaner is probably better than starting fluid. Starting fluid is quite flammable after all.

30 day CPAP use
You basically need to be 70% compliant at 4 hrs a day for 30 days so basically 21 days out of 30. When I renewed my med card using Swifts dr they insisted on having 90 day's of compliance.
