Honest Opinions...

My husband and I are getting ready to start truck driving school and have already been looking at what companies to drive for in preparation of a home to go to at the end of school. We are looking for a company that's team oriented with good tuition reimbursement programs and decent CPM. We are looking at driving for US Xpress or Celadon as their is a terminal situated midway of our home and our parents' home. We were looking at USA Truck as well as they are situated in a reasonable distance from our home, but not keen on the idea that they tend to stay typically east of the Mississippi river as we will be driving husband and wife team. I would like to hear what everyone thinks of these companies and their programs outside of what I've read in multiple forums and from people that perhaps drive for them. I am also open to suggestions to other companies out there that we may be overlooking. Oh and I should mention they should have a pet policy.....my husband is attached to our cat :D

Best company sponsored CDL programs

Hello ladies, I am new to the forums and have been perusing the website for 2 days now, trying to read all the trucking company reviews and various forum posts but still am confused on the best company out there. I know a large chunk of companies just from being around the trucking industry and riding with my ex-husband for 3/4 of our 10 year relationship, which includes the "old" ins and outs of Celadon, Schneider, and Falcon Transport. But personally, from a female perspective, what are good companies to look into?

Thanks ahead of time for any input or advice anyone can provide.

A PSA for those considering Prime Inc.

This is interesting to say the least. I have been dancing with the idea of becoming a truck driver for years and finally decided to go for it. However, being that I suffer from Bipolar Disorder II this brings into play some serious thought. I am on Seroquel to keep my "mood" balanced and am doing great with it. But now I have to wonder if I too will face the same obstacles. Disheartening to know its a crap shoot!
