2 dui in 2002. is it still worth pursuing a career in trucking?

I'm not giving up. I got both dui's in the same night almost exactly 14 years ago. The only thing I've gotten in trouble for since then was a ticket for not wearing a seat belt. I think I still have a chance but it won't be easy. Nothing has been easy in life

2 dui in 2002. is it still worth pursuing a career in trucking?

My hopes were up of being a trucker and now not so much. It's pretty disheartening. I'm guessing the best thing would be to see if I can get any prehire offers or get a company to hire and train me. I have some contacting to do

2 dui in 2002. is it still worth pursuing a career in trucking?

A few weeks ago I realized my employer is looking to replace me. The first thing I thought about was getting my CDL and driving truck. I got on some other forums and asked about it and asking if my 2 dui in 2002 would be a problem. The answers I got that they won't be since it's been 14 years. The last ticket I got was in 2009 for not wearing a seat belt. I drive about 60k miles per year for work mainly since 2009 in a company van. I was thinking of going to trucking school but I don't want go waste $4000 if I can't find a job afterwards. The more I read online the less likely it seems that anyone will hire me? Any advice or thoughts? Thanks
