I have offers from Prime, KLLM, and PAM Transport. Please Help :)

You sound like a good candidate for our flatbed division over here at Prime. It's generally a day time operation and will get you all around the country from east coast to the west coast. If you enjoy a little bit of physical labor I think you'll be happy. We have regional opertunities as well. Can't speak for the other companies but I know what I got going on over here is good stuff. BTW, I went thru the training program here at Prime myself. Been at it a year and a half now, never looking back.

Really Scared

Although I haven't been watching the weather, I am up here now on the 80 in Ohio headed for PA. Currently it's just cold and rainy. I haven't experienced any severe winds. I understand conditions can change but so far it's just another day on the job.

A very stupid question

I'm not sure anybody knows what it means. It seems like a little game they play to me. Kinda like in grade school when kids have these little games where they say some word at the end of whatever statement they are making. It's silly to me.

Tmc Drivers in Virginia?

Seeing as they try to get drivers home for the weekend I don't see you traveling west of the Mississippi too often. I pretty much see TMC all over the east and mid-west.

Tmc Drivers in Virginia?

Hey driver, I'm not with TMC but I do live in Waynesboro, VA. I don't get home much but when I do, I see a lot of their drivers traveling up 29 from Lynchburg to Charlottesville. I also know they have an account with, I believe it's Home Depot, down in North Carolina. I remember seeing that y'all had an account with a customer in Maryland somewhere as well. Can't remember exactly where I was when I saw that. Point being, I don't think you will have a difficult time finding freight which gets you home for the weekend.

Strange dirty jobs or seasonal work for adventurous young man?

First thing that came to my mind was seasonal work at the ski resorts. Find one near a place you wanna be and go apply.

Prime tanker looking to do team

I run teams off and on in short stints. I shower all the time running solo but when I run teams I find it harder to find the time to stop. Maybe it's my go go go attitude which causes this and the lack of a 10 hour stationery rest break but just thought I'd throw it out there since you quit Werner for that reason.

First Truck, It Has Bed Bugs

MyNameGoesHere, please do start a thread on bed bugs. I have a new guys in my truck all the time now that I train and it's a concern of mine. I don't want them bringing it in and my truck being infested.

Looking for a Prime inc Flatbed trainer.

We have a new matching system at Prime so I wouldn't worry about being assigned a trainer. I am a trainer for flatbed but currently have someone on my truck. There is a chance I will be finished with him by next week. If your a non smoker shoot me an email. Things could work out. Jontalb@aol.com

Starting with Knight? Property Management?

A lot of us go to Allentown, just out of curiosity, which warehouse were you in? There is a chance some of us have been there before.

Old school sighting?

I did call for you a few times, forgot to mention that.

I was able to breeze around 285 without a hitch. Safe travels, I'll keep my eyes peeled for you when I'm on the east coast.

Old school sighting?

08/24/17 at 1500 est on I-85 southbound in Georgia heading toward Atlanta, I spotted a SAPA truck operated by Knight pulling one of those covered Flatbed's. Now earlier in the day I had just skimmed thru an old thread on this site that Old School had posted a bunch of pictures of himself. Old School, was this you I saw out on the road?

Trucking companies in the North East

I can tell you about Prime because that's all I know. We have northeast regional drivers who are on a guarantee of 1200 a week. Those guys don't have to worry about miles or anything. We also have a few dedicated customers that we serve up in that area who are on the same pay scale. We offer flatbed OTR. I see some TMC day cabs up in the Massachusetts area from time to time. They are exclusively a flatbed company so that may be something you want to look into more. I've logged the majority of my miles up in the northeast and I'd say you have plenty of options.

My update from the Prime Inc Tanker division

Yeah man, I've got a question for you. I ran reefer with prime and am currently doing flatbed. One of my big reasons for making the switch to flatbed was because it's all daytime work. I love that I can sleep every night. What are the operating hours of a tank driver? I wouldn't mind pulling one of our tankers down the road one day so I'd like to know what the life is like.
