About to get married, and trucking has been a life long dream of mine. Trying to figure out tho, if trucking is the right move while starting a family.

Yes, I am looking into Cypress. They say i would be home every weekend. Wondering if anyone on here has worked for them, and knows how they're home time is?

I am getting married in October, but I really want to make a career change into the trucking industry. How hard is it to do regional for a year until i can get a local route?

Wanting to start trucking career
Just wondering if you've gone to Cypress yet, and what is it like?
Hey Zachary & Welcome! Good luck with the job hunt! Cypress is stationed in Jacksonville aswell! That's where I'm going next week - I think they do training for you, I'm not too sure though. Cypress is currently hiring for regional drivers(southeastern states to be exact) ftom what I see on videos and even on the road there equipment looks nice newer models.. Don't have much feedback for them maybe after I work for them a little ill be able to supply more info.

Any Cypress drivers out there? I have no cdl and was curious if they sponsor drivers to get a cdl. Also would like to know is it more a family atmosphere or everyone for themselves?

Looking to start a trucking career and live in Jacksonville Fl. I'd like to find a company that does paid cdl training since I do not have one yet. Any suggestions on companies?
