Does anyone know what the number of questions for each test section and which ones require a skills test with it? I've looked all over online and haven't found the exact breakdown for the test. I've only seen how many are in the test pools. Doesn't say anything in CDL Manual neither. Thanks in advance.

DAC Report Quit Under Dispatch
The Surface Transportation Assistance Act bars carriers from firing drivers or punishing them by not giving them loads for refusing to drive in violation of safety regulations, adverse weather or when they feel too sick to operate.

Not a good day for truckers in Oklahoma
Defiantly an eye opener. Things can happen in a blink of an eye. Looks like neither accident was the drivers fault. The accident on I-35 everyone walked away. It was a Cardinal truck involved with a Uhaul truck and a car. All burned up do to the impact.
Haven't heard much on the other accident except a guy was trying to cross the highway on foot around midnight. Sadly enough he didn't make it.

Truck driver hits and kills man trying to cross I-44 in Oklahoma City around midnight. Just now another truck involved in a crash on I-35 SB with a Uhaul truck in Norman. Be careful out there!!!

Introduction & Starting CDL School
Toonces: I just read your post in the general forum. Thanks for taking the time to write about your experiences at Central Tech. Counting down the days until I start.

I'll be attending there in August. I like it that you have to have your CDL permit and DOT physical before going to class. Their about half the price of another school in Oklahoma City. I wasnt impressed with them at all. They had a little gravel parking area they did their training on. It was nothing compared to Central Tech.

What's a good company to start out with?
Brandon- Are you aware that since you are getting out of the military you may not have to take your skills test for your CDL?

Introduction & Starting CDL School
Hello toonces. Another okie here! I plan on attending Central Tech in August. It looks like a great school. First, it's less than an hour from the house. Second, their PTDI certified and meet the 160 hour requirement. Looks like a great school and have heard a lot of good things about the course and instructors. If you get a chance can you tell us a little bit how everything works. How's the housing they offer?
Thanks Mike

In those weekly payments your truck insurance is included among other things. I believe!
