Which companies only do urinalisis?

I know there is a list on this topic, but it isnt very a very good thread with the information im looking for. Im not going to admit to anything, but i might of smoked sep 14th 15th and 16th during the florida hurricane one hit each each time. Before that its been atleast 6 months. Before that another 6 months, then before that another 6. I used to smoke alot when i was in my teens and early twenties. I tried in my early teens to stay away from it but i failed..everyone does it here, where im at. I managed to rid myself of all sources of it. I even stoped talking to majority of my family. I want nothing to do with it. The reason why i did it in sep was because the people i was renting a room from had some. Yeah its my fault but thats why i moved out after the hurricane. I want nothing to do with it. I joined crst a year and a half ago. After i graduated, during the orientation, i wrote down i failed a pre employment drug test(non dot, for a construction company) when i was 18. So then the day we were exposed to get hired on and get our lisence, i was dropped. I walked a mile back to the hotel, packed my stuff, took a 400$ uber back home. Got a job back in construction. Figured trucking was not ment to be, so i tryed to give construction one more shot. I even went out and got a nice car to try to get into it more. And spent over 1 grand on tools in just over a year too. But i dont want to do this. Maybe all i want is some advise. I found alot of good companies, but they do hair tests too and i dont want to *** this up. I want to start in new years if possible.

Home Address for a Rookie

I have my CDL and I'm considering working for Schneider. I have a question about my home address. I currently rent a room for $550 a month. Is there anyway I can avoid this $550 a month, since I won't be living here? I don't have any family or friends I can ask to use their address cause they rent rooms too or live in trailers. How much can I expect to make with Schneider my first year? I want to make money so I can get my own place.

Just got my CDL, but I didn't get hired/can't find a job because...

I just got denied today. Today they told me they wouldn't hire me. So all day today I'm calling around looking for a driving job. I've found some who will, but the majority of carriers won't accept me.

I went to a trucking school with a company that trains & makes you sign a contract, but I wasn't hired because I admitted to failing a pre-employment drug test back in 2010. I was ignorant of the fact that they wouldent hire you with such a background. I was told that If I didn't check that box, they would of had no way to know if I failed a drug test in the first place. But now that its out...will anyone hire me, a recent grad from trucking school, or should I just give up trucking and do something else. Trying to find a use for this CDL.

Which Trucking School is best?

I called Roehl, I'm not eligible for their training since I'm in Florida. I appreciate the link for the schools. I will Look over every single one. I do still have more time and will do more research.

Which Trucking School is best?

Thanks for the reply. I think I'm going to go with CRST, and just hope for the best. I just want to drive/learn to drive & having someone else there with you might be good. And after the contract Ill try to find a place where I can drive solo or perhaps lease my own truck(which sounds a little scary, 320k investment or something like that). Or perhaps continue Teams...

My Goals for trucking are to 1. Drive solo, not in teams. 2. Drive where ever the wind takes me, perhaps going to Alaska or Canada.

I'm not worried about hometime, If I have to stay out months at a time, I'm fine with that.

Which Trucking School is best?

I'm Dustin, I'm 24. I'm currently talking to the CRST recruiters. I like the school because I don't have to pay anything up front, which for me, to be honest, seems like a huge relief. CRST so far sounds nice, the only thing I'm worried about is teams. The reason why I quit my construction job and wanting to start trucking is because I want to work alone(My personality type is an ISTJ, a recommended career for ISTJs is Trucking). My only worry is that I will not get along with my team mate, which will make me miserable if I'm stuck with someone I don't get along with or someone I don't like. Although team trucking is nice because your with someone else, who is more knowledgeable & experienced.

So basically my question is, is there any other schools for CDL training, with no cost up front? I'm still in the process of gathering all the information I can before I choose a school & company. I'm also looking into Roadmasters, but I feel like now is the best time to get advise from other people.

Whats the best way to get into trucking and not have to drive in teams/get my own truck?
