I've been around people who smoke some people tell me it can get in your hair that way I just don't want to take chances Iam doing alright at may right now
Thinking about making a change to heyl no sure how there are does anyone know what kind of dot drug they do and what equipment and pay benefits look like thanks for the help
Wow. If your looking to switch to Heyl why would you need to know what drug test they do? 10 months ago you were asking about May trucking and their test. In ten months you would be clean for either a urine or hair follicle test. Unless, of course you used.

anyone have any experience with mays trucking I'm really considering them as a potential employer. Does anyone know what type of drug test they use? Iam a little worried about the hair follicle. I have stopped doing drugs which wasn't easy for me but I am on the right path now and this entering this great career and being so young at 22 I am hoping I can do big things in this industry

Orientation at western express
So I just passed my cdl test and graduate on December 9th I talked to Western Express and they want me to leave on Sunday does any one have any recent experience with them I kind of want to know what to expect also do they do hair follicle testing? I am a bit worried about it but should pass if they do it just curious to see what I can expect with them I have seen not one positive review with them which makes me very nervous about committing with them . Any feedback would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance

Does anyone have any feedback on western express regarding miles pay home time and equipment I will be attending the orientation at Nashville,TN
Eric, I started my trucking career at Western Express as a flat bed driver. In my first 3 or 4 months as a solo driver I had been to 46 of the lower 48 states - they kept me very busy. My equipment was well maintained (trailers were a little aged, but well kept), My miles were consistently strong, and I got home once a month when I requested. If you go in there committed to being the best you can be they will respond and help you reach your goals as a new driver. If you go in there with an attitude that says you are going to give them a chance to prove themselves you will have a hard time just as many of their drivers did while I was there.
Understanding how this business works, and how a driver succeeds, will help you greatly when starting out as a rookie. That is just as true at Western Express as it is anywhere else you might get your start. Don't count on them treating you right, count on you treating them right while you are working there, and everything will fall into place for you.
Thanks for the feedback I was looking at their start pay which isn't really that bad it's sucks the first 3 months 32 cents but at 3 months they told me 36 and 6 months 37 cents a mile and 25 tarp pay. Iam doing the 5 on 2 off out of fort dodge Iowa Iam hoping that the pay is worth it.

I am truck driving school here in iowa at scott community college I graduate December. I was young and stupid being that I am 22 and got 3 speeding tickets and one fail to obey traffic sign signal. one of my speeding tickets has been exactly 3 yrs. most companies look back 3 years so i would have 2 speed and 1 failure to obey traffic sign signal what trucking companies would give me a chance. I haven't had a ticket in over a year.
