Past dui's

I have been turned down by 2 cdl schools here in Pa. I had a dui in 1989, then 3 dui's in 1991(a rocky marriage I didn't handle maturely). Ended up with my class c license suspended for 25 years. No dui's since then, just driving under suspension tickets in 2000 and 2008. Now I have my license back and I'm being told the problem is a "lifetime limit" even though everything is over 25 years ago. Is there really no company that would hire me? No way to get some kind of waiver? Is it possible to get around this if I just bought a truck and started out as an owner operator?
