What type of drug testing is done at major trucking companies?

Thank you

Ok, here's the scoop on Stevens Transport. My nephew is a rookie there, started last October. He says they only do urine testing and hes had 2 randoms and 2 breathalyzer tests in the past 10 months.

Newbie question-cdl permit

Welcome Rick!

Listen, forget about forcing your way through that manual. We have a much better way to go. We've built the manual into a really amazing system - our High Road Training Program. It breaks the manual down into bite size chunks and then has a short quiz at the end of each section.

As you work your way through the program you'll be given review questions from previous pages along with the questions from the page you're on. So as you're learning new materials you're reviewing the old ones to really plant them in your brain for good retention.

Our High Road Training dashboard shows you what each section applies to - either your permit, your endorsements, or your job duties. Start working your way through our system and you'll get way, way better results than you would simply trying to read the CDL manual.

Thank you Brett. I am looking forward to using the high road training program

Newbie question-cdl permit

I am sorry if this has been asked multiple times. Been in contact with a couple schools now. Picked up my cdl manual today. My question is if I am only taking the general test, air brakes , combination and tanker tests do I need to study rest of manual?
