Recent CDL grad. Going to SRT
Hey, I am new to the trucking field and not sure what to expect. I have read a lot of different things, some good and some bad. In my case I had to change my career due to a stupid decision I made in 2014. I now have felonies on my record. I have always wanted to drive the country, so here I am. It has been a very rough struggle finding any company willing to work with me. I have a few that are looking at me now but SRT called and said I am all good to go. I explained everything in detail to them and even told the recruiter to make sure background is acceptable. She did just that and I waited a week to call her. I talked with another recruiter because mine was not there, She told me that everything was a go and all I have to do is start orientation. I am doing just that here in the next week or so. Can anyone give me a heads up on what I am getting into? Thanks everyone.
